Welcome to We Care I.N.C.

We Care In the Name of Christ is a church-based non-profit  dedicated to helping those in need.

We Care I.N.C. began in 1980 by pastors of the South Haven Area Ministerial Association (S.H.A.M.A.). They perceived a need for a clearinghouse to efficiently identify the truly needy people and help the churches minister to them.  Individuals and families suffering a hardship, as well as Churches and agencies who know someone in need, call the We Care clearinghouse office(s).  We Care office volunteers gather information to analyze and verify the family's need(s).  We Care office volunteers then refer families in need to one of our 31 ministries sponsored by community churches or area agencies that may be able to provide the requested assistance. We Care volunteers follow up to verify how a client was helped.  Where practical, the client is offered a visit from a pastor or Christian Caregiver for follow-up and evangelical encouragement.  We Care also coordinates volunteer opportunities that match talents and interest with areas in the community where they can serve to their full potential.

We Care I.N.C. receives no government funding.  We Care relies on churches, individuals, families and business institutions. Gifts to We Care are tax deductible and any gift that you might share will be greatly appreciated.  To make a donation or learn more, please visit our donations page.

WE CARE'S MONTHLY PRAYER FOR MAY

Help us build and strengthen God's ministry through We Care I.N.C. Pray with us daily this month.

Heavenly Father,  Please look after our farmers and those who work the fields and orchards.

We know you are always with us but the elements in our world can be harsh and the job of working the soil to grow food can be difficult.

Bless those who provide food for our community.

Thank you, Lord for our greater community. Thank you for churches where people work and pray together.

Thank you for the beautiful area we live in. To You be the glory!

Amen
