July Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Help us to celebrate our country’s freedom by helping assure that all of your children do have freedom.  Help all your children be free from the lack of:  food, work, fairness, justice, financial resources, employment, a caring community and other situations and conditions that though no fault of the individual sets your children apart from one another.  Let giving hearts work together to be instruments of your love.  We thank you.                     We praise you.

mission statement:

We Care In the Name of Christ’s mission is to help God’s Church live out Christ’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves.  This is done by linking families in need with church pantries and assistance ministries as well as a wide variety of community agencies.  We offer church and community members an opportunity for personal and spiritual growth through sharing their time and talents to help others and also to promote good stewardship, preventing duplication of services and utilizing available resources in the best way possible.

        WE CARE IN

THE NAME OF CHRIST

We Care In the Name of Christ is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those in our community with basic needs like food, clothing, and personal care items.  We Care I.N.C. provides other services, such as transportation, furniture, baby items, and heat assistance.  We Care I.N.C. also sponsors annual projects geared for low-income families such as Meal Baskets at Thanksgiving, Project Santa at Christmas, and Back-to-School for elementary students each fall.

We Care In the Name of Christ began with five partner churches and now has more than 40 churches working diligently together to provide a variety of outreach services to families within our communities.  There are now over  750 active volunteers, mostly from our partner churches, serving in many different areas.  From office volunteer staff, special project volunteers, and annual activities, We Care would not exist without this core of dedicated individuals.

If you know someone in need, please call us today.
