There are so many different ways to give and get help, that it can be confusing at times.  As a resource center, our job is to keep track of all that for you. So look no further - Scroll down this page to see ways you can give back, pay it forward or receive assistance through We Care and from other non-profits throughout the area.

• Need help with your heat, electric bill or other utility while we're closed?  
  • DHHS - Department of Health and Human Services 
  • SVP - St. Vincent de Paul
  • True North - Need Help Paying Bills
  • SA - Salvation Army
  • SMCAA - Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency
• Need food RIGHT NOW?  Visit the Blessing Boxes located at:
  • First United Methodist Church in South Haven
  • First Congregational Church in Grand Junction
  • South Haven Community Church in South Haven
  • Simpson United Methodist Church in Bangor 
  • You can also drop off food and personal hygiene products to these locations any time, day or night.  This is a first-come, first-serve box that anyone can give items to and anyone can receive from, no questions asked.  Please, no expired items.
• FREE BABY FOOD and FORMULA at HOPE Parent Resource Center.  If you're in need of formula, wipes or baby food, check out the NEW FREE Baby Blessings Box located at the HOPE Parent Resource Center in South Haven. Signage is coming soon, but for now we ask that you take what you need and give back if you are ever able.
  • For now, it is food, wipes, formula and new, unused essential baby items such as baby lotion/shampoo or detergent. Please do not put items that have expired. Click here for more information: HOPE Parent Resource Center.
