BLACK RIVER CROP WALK

The Black River CROP Walk will be held on Sunday, October 3rd.  You can help fight hunger by helping them with this walk in many different ways:

August 18th, 2010: Work in a We Care Pantry or Service Ministry?  This is our Annual We Care I.N.C. Pantry Training Day!  We will begin at 9:30 a.m. for a special training activities including a look at the current We Care Ministries and a peek into our future!  Lunch included, adjournment at 2:30 p.m.

October 11th, 2010: Poverty Simulation!  A workshop co-sponsored by We Care I.N.C., South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, InterCare, Senior Services, Lake Michigan College and The South Haven Public Schools.  Discover what it's like to live in poverty during this three hour simulation experience!  Call 637-4342 for additional information.

October 17th - 24th, 2010:  Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of We Care In the Name of Christ!  October 17-24 our community's annual We Care Week.  On October 18th at 7:00 p.m. there will be Prayer Gathering, an opportunity for people to come together to pray with others from many denominations for We Care's very large partnership ministry.  The, on October 24th at 1:00 p.m. we will have our Anniversary and Celebration Dinner - if you are a We Care supporter, you're invited!  Details to follow soon...
